Incredible Expanding Mindf**k-'Arcadia Son'(Headphone Dust) Mike Reed | USA | 12/05/2004 (4 out of 5 stars) "Not quite as mind-blowing as their previous release,the self-titled disc(see my review),but still well worth your time.'Arcadian Son' is another chance to allow Porcupine Tree's main man Steve Wilson to create some MORE good experimental progressive sounds as a side project.Only this time,he's got a three piece backing him up,Geoff Leigh-flute&sax,Mark Simnet-drums and Colin Edwin-bass.As for the tunes,some are better than others,but I liked the noisy opener "Wreck",the somewhat quirky "We Are Not Alone",the title cut "Arcadian Son"(nice synth playing and wah-wah guitar)and the twenty-minute epic "Shadow Of A Twisted Hand".Shouldn't be hard to find,I've seen this title in retail stores.Good to take out for a spin every now and again."
