"Early seventies Icelandic trio. Some really dark themes here. I really liked it start to finish. My favorite tracks are Solution and Nightmare. Not your typical bar chord Sabbath esque type of band ( nothing against Sabbath, Sabbath rules!! ), interesting use of chords and arrangments, way ahead of time. There are songs here that could easily have influenced bands from Metallica to Voivod to Marilyn Manson. Some cool vocal effects in Nightmare very dark for it's time. Icecross is not super distorted but have driving guitar riffs and drums still heavier than most bands of the time looking at the whole package. The cover is soooo totally metal. Dark. Very dark. These guys really had some cool ideas it's too bad they didn't make anymore albums. Members include - Axel P.J. Einarsson: electric & acoustic guitars + vocals. B. Omar Oskarsson: bass, bowed acoustic guitar, + vocal and Asgeir Oskarsson: drums, percussion, backing vocals and bass on the track A Sad Mans Story. Also credited Tommy Seabach: keyboards on A Sad Mans Story and he engineered the album and Gusti: brought beer, coffee and helped the band anyway he could during the recording. That's a good friend. Produced by Icecross."
