Good start

"Wanna hear Peter Tagtgren playing drums? Check this out! On the title track he played most of the instruments, and its probably the best track on here. You can really hear the roots of this band, and for a Swedish band they don't have the typical Entombed guitar sound. If you could imagine Floridian death metal being played in a more melodic European fasion, you're on the right track. Pretty cool stuff, even if its "outdated," as some would feel. This is classic!"
Excellent classic death metal album

"This release looks like it's the one with the 2 bonus tracks Life Of Filth and Lead By Satanism because the logo is white not pink. Whatever happened to the pink logo? Why'd they change it? Oh well, great album anyway especially if you get the bonus tracks. This album is better than Osculum Obscenum in some ways but lacks in other departments. The vocals aren't as diverse which could be viewed as a good or bad thing (not sure). All I know is this album is different from Osculum Obscenum in many ways. It is definetely an album that defines the genre and its progression. If you like death metal and its roots then I say grab this with both hands and don't let go. This album is ofcourse before Peter Tagtgren bacame vocalist. However he was the guitarist in those days when Masse Bromberg did vocals.
Definetely a band with an interesting history and development."

"this is a excellent hypocrisy album but i have to remark most on the one song title track its so ghoulish sound very awesome instrumentation ..on this the song fluxuates different effects in it...another awesome track to escape is to die has almost a thrash metal feel to it right down to the song nightmare-which is just as it says very nightmarish sound do not pass up pentralia it is early death metal classic they are death metal with almost mixture of some death metal feel use of keyboards not many death bands use them peter tagtgren is very talented individual a god of death metal so to speak .genius to the death metal /dark death metal industry...cya"
