Synopsis

Album Description
Hurt Locker have earned respect for being one of the most adrenaline-filled acts around, both on stage and on record. A workaholic attitude combined with Hurt Locker's jostling, hard-hitting sound has seen the band effortlessly rise above the competition. Their Fear in a Handful of Dust debut proves this loudly, guaranteed to slot the quartet alongside such legends as Slayer and Pantera!

"Great metal! Turn it way up while you're driving!!! Can't wait to see these guys make it big...they're on their way!"

"A new release on Napalm's roster of new metal bands, the debut album from Hurtlocker is one of last year's better metal releases. Charging out of the gate wielding an arsenal of heavy riffs, great drumming, and snarling, ferocious vocals reminiscent of Pantera's Phil Anselmo, this is one aggressive and heavy album.

Although lacking in originality and diversity, this is a very solid 21st century metal album, straight up. You've heard all this before- Pantera, Slayer, and Lamb of God all come to mind- but Hurtlocker can go toe to toe with these bands easily. I actually enjoyed this album more than the most recent Lamb Of God release. Recommended!"
