"The Hunger Mountain Boys channel the spirit of 1930s country, string band jazz, and hokum music in a wonderful album of MOSTLY ORIGINAL 21st CENTURY compositions! It's the Delmore Brothers Meet Darby & Tarlton Meet Martin, Bogan, and Armstrong in a modern recording studio. Simply delightful, guitar-bass-mandolin trios with lots of steel (dobro) and fine vocal duets. If you like the old-time stuff it's still very much alive in this project."
