This most recent offering is a presentation of beloved hymns with true Southern trappings. The Gaithers have captured the regal and majestic qualities with which these hymns of old have grown to be associated. In this live recording, each hymn features a different soloist who stands out in front of the choir with a charismatic and assured presence. From powerful moments of choir-filled praise to intimate moments of a single voice, the sincerity of the vocalists stands out as the most striking characteristic of this disc.
