Synopsis

Product Description
La Luna is a 47 minute electronic piece that was actually recorded several years prior to its release in 1996. It is subtitled An Electronic Night Ceremony and described by its creator as "like a gamelan orchestra session on a very electronic basis". The foundation is seemingly comprised of backwards looping and the neutral tick-tock of synthetic percussion. Czukay fills it in with space, various sound effects, the stop-starts characteristic of his editing and strange permutations on these basic patterns. The bottom unexpectedly drops at 17:45, but builds back up within several minutes. At the 30-minute mark, vocalist U-She enters over this foundation with an incantation to the moon.

The Revisited re-release of La Luna is digitally remastered and comes housed in deluxe digipak format with an unreleased bonus track.
