"This is a full blown praise CD. Forget that Doc and the guys have tight harmonies and that their arrangements fully compliments their no nonsense straight to point lyrics. Ignore even the fact that this CD has been graced with great production qualities! This is a full blown praise CD that has the Lord at the center of every song! 360 degrees of worship. It brings the Holy Spirit to the center of our thoughts through song. "Use Me Lord" makes me get up and dance for God! "I'll Do Your Will", encouraged me get off my pew and become a part of church activity and, moved me to share my testimony everywhere I go! "I Won't Complain" has been interpreted to reflect the internal joy and wistfullness one has towards life when they know who's really in control. Doc and the Hilites have bridged that old time gospel feeling with the new time comtemporary arrangement. This isn't for "hearers and not doers". This is not for those who like a comfortable, relaxing, lush and smooth sounding gospel that lulls you them to sleep. This is for those who love the Lord and want get up and do His will! You go Doc!!!"

"I believe that this cd will bless those who will take out the time to listen. God has really kept this masterpiece for such a time like this. Every song fit someone situation, and will give you the answer you been looking for. Doc is a great singer who have stayed in the race. This new release will take him to higher heights in his music life. Be careful because this music will hook you. The old and the young can relate to this music. If you been looking for A BLESSING you just found it in Doc Mckenzie new release Hold On."
