Simply beautiful

"Hipsway may not be the Beatles: not even close.They may not
even have a decent follow-up LP.They may not be the best
Scottish musicians ever. But as BOURGEOIS TAGG put it:
I Don't Mind At All. This album is what British Pop is
all about: Simple & beautiful pop songs. Ask The Lord
became easily a club classic, Forbidden is one of the best
ballads ever written by Scottish group and my all time
favourite song, with a solo by Pim that shakes my bones
each and every time, is Long White Car."

Turn down your garbage and listen to this!!!

"Without a bad track on the album hipsway is an excellant trip back to mid-eighties electronic pop/rock ,with its crisp, clear production songs like 'the honeythief','the broken years' and my personal favourite 'forbidden' amazingly has passed the test of time. bass player johnny mcelone who already had a taste of fame with his former band ALTERED IMAGES would go on to have phenomenal success throughout the u.k and europe with his new band TEXAS."
