"Kaze no Johmon is a wonderful CD for anyone who has a love of Japanese style music, be it modern or ancient. Though the tracks on the disk tend to have mostly archaic Japanese overtones, some contemporary undercurrents are in evidence. An excellent CD to listen to whilist relaxing, or looking for a bit of inspiration to get that new art project underway, Kaze no Johmon is a unique addition to any collection. The tracks contain ethereal melodies with modern, almost techno accents. Many instruments and effects are used. In one track you may be able to hear violins, vocals, a synthesized melody, and a cello all together. It blends to create a wonderful effect which is futuristic, yet age-old at the same time.
The lyrics seem to be mainly in Japanese, so unless you've studied the language, it isn't exactly the kind of disk one could sing along to, but is definately a pleasure to listen to."
