Jazz and most music in general is all about moving forward, and that is what HiM continues to do. HiM isn't really straight-up jazz, it is like beat-oriented music with jazzy overtones, but I would say that this is their jazziest effort yet. Doug Scharin and about 10 other guys really kick it old school on this cd with horns, percussion, guitars etc.... BUY IT!"
