"Hero of a hundred fights play gritty, complex, and emotive math rock with the ferocity of a hardcore band. The musicianship on this e.p is amazing and whilst these four songs are dense and abrasive after repeated listenings the solid melodies and hooks really suck you in. The guitar playing on this e.p is intricate and 'mathy' supported by a reaLLY pounding rhythm section. The dual vocals on this reocrd also stand out, especially in the last song where the vocalists attempt to out scream one another, and in the 'Toolesque' vocal melodies in parts of 'faction paradox'. This is a definitely well worth a listen and it puts many of those generic metalcore bands to shame with its complexity and originality. BUY THIS!Also if you like this checkout Akarso + Brass Knuckles for Tough Guys and Managra (whose members went on to form Hero of a Hundred Fights) + anything on 314 records or Lovitt."
