"I'm not an officionado of music, I like what I like, and I may be partial here... Heretix was a local Boston band during my college days, and I would try to see them everytime they played. Gods & Gangsters is one of my all time favorite albums... from track 1 through 10. Ray Lemieux was also voted best Local Male Vocalist for 2 or 3 years by readers of the Boston Pheonix back in the early nineties. While now the sound is a bit dated, it is still a great album to listen to, and I find it in my CD player often. I'd recommend any of their albums to someone who may have enjoyed bands like: the Smithereens, Faith No More, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Candlebox..."
