Compared to 'Introducing...' the production on 'More Modern Short Stories' is almost orchestral, which really allows the songs and songwriting to stretch out. Annika Norlin lets joyous humor and heartbreak live side-by-side, and has crafted one of the best albums of the year. It's a good-time album that you'll sing along to, so buy it and have a great time. After all, she made it just for you."
