Right? Well, how about an unreleased alternate version of I Am Woman ?! And that s just for starters this collection serves up a full dozen unreleased and/or alternate sides that have been just waiting to be discovered by her legion of fans. Includes unreleased, alternate versions of Blue ; Don t Mess with a Woman , and Songs ; a French language version of Plus De Chansons Tristes (No Sad Song) , and an extended 12 dance mix of Take What You Find . Seventies pop maven Mike Ragogna puts Helen s career and these tracks in their proper perspective. A Collectors Choice Music exclusive!

"Capitol Records was the recording home for Helen Reddy for most of her years as a recording artist. It was at Capitol that Reddy recorded all of her legendary hits such as "I Am Woman", "Delta Dawn" and "Angie Baby".

Helen Reddy quit recording in the nineties and at that time the world lost one of its greatest vocalists and that is why it is so spectacular that Capitol has now released a entire CD of lost tracks from Reddy's career. These songs are far from filler tracks and sound as fresh as the day they were recorded.

"Me And My Love" is so good it should have been a single, "Blue" is a irresistable sing along and "Tell Jack" is sassy and fun.

What a great gift from Capitol and Helen Reddy."
A must have for Helen Reddy fans!

"What a great surprise this cd release is. Alternate takes on songs you Helen Reddy die hards already know (I Am Woman, Blue, Don't (You) Mess With A Woman and Songs), mixed with brand new songs, which makes this cd worth owning. Me And My Love and Lullaby are great. Each song is very different, one is upbeat and the other a ballad. If you're familiar with the Carole King co-written No Sad Songs, here it is sung in French, called Plus De Chansons Tristes, and it's a highlight of the cd in my opinion. Rhythm Rhapsody is here too and if you have ever gone to any of Helen's shows, you'll remember this as her opening number. This is a slightly different take on the live version. If you are a long time Helen Reddy fan, I don't think you will be disappointed in this collection. As a long time HR fan, I am very happy to have this cd, especially since Helen no longer sings or makes new music."

"Hopefully, Helen Reddy is now being given the credit she justifiably deserves. She was an extremely talented vocalist who had a huge career in the 1970's. It's too bad she stopped recording and doesn't make public appearances anymore. I wish that her other Capitol records, eg. Ear Candy would be released on Cd. In the meantime, this one will suffice. Way to go!"
