Digitally remastered two CD set containing a pair of albums from the Sou/R&B outfit: Too Hot To Handle and Central Heating. Heatwave was formed in the UK by two U.S. servicemen, Johnnie Wilder and his brother Keith, Spaniard Mario Mantese (bass), Czechoslovakian Ernest Bilbo Berger (drums), Jamaican Eric Johns (guitar) and Briton Roy Carter (guitar) and from Cleethorpes, Rod Temperton on keyboards. The bonus tracks of this special release feature the non-album single tracks as well as three extended versions of the hits. The booklet annotation is by Tony Rounce who has interviewed producer Barry Blue especially for this release. Edsel. 2010.
