Hearts of Stone have just gotta b the unluckiest soul group EVER. This album, particularly my outstanding track IF I CUD GIVE U THE WORLD, is a slab of the finest soul - 35 years on and STILL sounds superb. They got caught up in the move of Motown from Detroit 2 LA and .... the rest is history.
Don't know anything else 'bout them, whether they folded or not or reformed.
Sometimes an album just blows you away and this is 1 of them! OK so all the tracks aren't original material but what the heck - soooooo soulful and a major disaster that they didn't make it big, very big indeed. Can't praise it enuf."

"This is John Myers, one of the original Hearts of Stone... I am still writing, singing, and performing. The other members, Floyd Lawson, Lindsey Griffin, and Carl Cutler are all in good health and enjoying life... Floyd lives in Canada, Lindsey is in Mississippi, and Carl is in Philadelphia... I am in Knoxville, TN where my wife and I write and perform. We had a group reunion a few years ago, and plan on another one in the near future... Let me hear from you... Myers1977@bellsouth.net"
