"As I Lay Dying and Still Remains also are two christian metalcore and hardcore bands at their finest. "Burning Bridges" and "When Everything Falls" are two great CD's. Once you buy these albums you wont regret it. Even though this CD has more singing this can still match up to "Burning Bridges" and pretty much does because Haste The Day knows what music they make and they know the path they have chosen. One of 2005's hit albums that you should buy along with "Burning Bridges.""

"yes, this is haste the day's sophomore album released about a year ago. although not as hard and psychotic as their previous, this album still has it's breakdowns, catches, but a lot more singing. this album will most likely be Jimmy Ryan's last work following, a few months later, by the departure from his band. although haste the day now has a new singer after jimmy's departure, i still respect jimmy ryan's work in the band, as well as his message, and his determination and walk with his Lord and Savior. try and get this album, u won't regret it.

Farewell, Jimmy. (2002-2005)"

One of the few Christian Metal bands worth listening to.

"I don't have a whole lot of christian CDs in my collection, but this is well worth the buy. This is by far the best christian band that is out their. Even if your not into the whole religion thing, you should buy this CD if you want some of metalcores finest. this band is for fans of "As I Lay Dying", "The Agony Scene", and "Demon Hunter". Pick this CD up NOW.

"I'll be honest, after seeing the title and art of the new CD, I just had this sneaking suspicion that this album would be the first of a change for one of my favorite hardcore groups, but was I ever wrong; and THANK GOD! It's great to see one group sticking with what's working for them. The breakdowns are amazing, the singing is solid as ever (which is a rare thing amidst hardcore bands), and the lyrics are uplifting as ever!!! Yet another amazing release from Haste The Day!!! If only they'd given us more music to last until their next release (37min. with one of the songs being an amazing Goo Goo Dolls cover), but I'm not complaining :) The album's been in my rotation for the last 2 weeks non-stop, and it's going to have a hard time finding its' way out for a while."

"Hmmm...sometimes I wonder if Haste The Day are their own worst enemies. When Everything Falls has everything you'd want in a standard metalcore record...blistering riffs, throaty vocals, melodic singing, etc. but unfortunetly it falls short of being as enjoyable as their Solid State debut "Burning Bridges." The biggest problem here is the songwriting is just to predictable. Haste The Day have the ability to write a helluva catchy chorus, but when you throw them into every single track like they've done here, not only does it sound forced but it sort of loses it's ability to contrast with the heavier aspects of the songs because of the constant repitition, and even worse it makes it difficult to differentiate between the tracks. Ironically enough, perhaps the most enthralling listen on the entire album is the closing track "Long Way Down" which is entirely sung in clean vocals with scattered background screams, mostly because its just about the only track that really sounds different from everything else thats written and sounds very un-metalcore.

There's definetly talent here and I enjoy the album enough to say that When Everything Falls would fit nicely into anyones record collection who enjoys the majority of Solid State's catalog of releases, but don't expect to be blown away by this album as it doesn't tread any new ground. Highlight tracks include the "For A Lifetime," "Walk On," and "Long Way Down.""
