Check out the organ playing by Ray Stevens on "Bonaparte's Retreat"! An essential addition to any country music collection."

"Here's an artist easily forgotten, although his talent is nothing short of stellar. Hank Locklin was somehow able to tie the original Honky Tonk sound with the Nashville sound that made him a favorite of fans from both categories of country music. This "Best of..." collection includes all of his biggest hits, including "Send Me the Pillow" and "Please Help Me I'm Falling"; although his best vocal work can be found in "Geisha Girl" and "Followed Closely By My Teardrops". These are origianl recordings and the sound is as good as it gets. A+"

"It was not on my top list of country CD purchase but I am glad I bought the CD. I basically like legendary country singers with a few exception like Randy Travis and Dwight Yoakam. There may be a few more but am not interested in majority of CMA award singers. I don't find many of the voices beautiful so I don't listen to Country radio stations in recent but stick to my own through I-pod. I guess younger folks like gutteral sounding voices. To each his or her own. I like the words of legendary singers i.e. Hank Williams."
