"Gypsy Jazz? Afro Cuban? Bossa Nova? Yes, it's a wonderful mix of many styles. I Too Have Sinned is a fresh sound. The band is huge, 8 members. I saw them live at a small bar & they couldn't all fit on stage. The grooves on this disc will have you moving like Ricky Ricardo. The lead singers voice has the classic "Cigarettes & Whiskey" sound not unlike the lead singer for Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. If you want something fresh in the way of latin/jazz/bossanova & you like supporting local musicians this CD should be in your collection. If you get the chance, check them out live!"

This CD, this sound is so refreshing, so alive that it will literally transport you. From the classical (not electric) guitars, to the tight percussions and wafting horns, to Sylvia's Prima and, finally, Casey's vocals, this is the freshest band you have heard, and are likely to hear for a while. Make no mistake, these are skilled musicains and songwriters. You will not be disappointed with the Hammertoes. Make no mistake...buy this CD!
