Charming, delicate, virtuosic...Cziffra at his best!

"I was so glad to receive this album. It contains many of the greatest works of Liszt, played by virtuosic genious Gyorgy Cziffra. I recommend it to any one who enjoys great music of the 19th century. It also contains a memorable recording of the "Grand Galop Chromatique", a popular show piece in Liszt's day, but forgotten about and marred with false virtuosity. Favorites "Islamey" by Balakirev and Cziffra's own arrangement of Vecsey's "Valse Triste" are also included. I love this album dearly, and was ecstatic to find it on Amazon."
