Surprisingly Melodious & Sweet

"The peyote songs of the Diné are quite different from our own and I would say that in terms of musical quality they are actually better. I don't see how these songs could be more effective than our own in an actual mitote setting but they are very catchy. Sweet melodies on this album. Paul Guy Jr and Teddy Allen both sing very well, in a higher register than do our own singers. if you're only going to buy one peyote-song CD, it doesn't HAVE to be this one, but there's nothing wrong with this one being it."
