"I love Wake Me Up When September Ends its beautiful. Its orginally about Billie Joe's dad who died when he was 10 or something but it seems to have references of war (as seen in the video which is also great!) and can relate to september 11 which makes it significant to pretty much everyone who cares in the world. the rock ballad starts off calmly with beautiful guitar riffs and thought provoking lyrics and reaches a rockier point in the middle of it with the introduction of heavier drum beats. the videos about a young man whos in love and has a great life but goes to war and loses everything. its so sad but beautiful. can't imagine anyone hating this song unless you're not into the slower melodic ones."
