From the first ethereal chords to the last pounding bass of 'Down Home Mama', this disc is a delight for fans of gospel, RnB, Rockabilly and good ol' southern boogie (these guys are Limeys, I swear). The lead picker went on to tour with McCartney and the bass player wrote 'I'm Sorry Babe' for the dance outfit Kokomo. A show opening for Rod, Ron & the Faces' 1st tour (70?, Municipal Auditorium, Atlanta) is still spoken of with awe by those who can remember! ..."
