Mixed feelings
Dark Star-The Other One | The Bus To Never Ever Land | 09/17/2010
(4 out of 5 stars)

"I should start out by saying that I find the performances very good but the problem with this release is that the tape speed wasn't corrected and, as a result, the songs all run slow by about 3.2% which is alot. These shows were taken from standard cassettes make on a tape deck that ran slow. All the songs are played strongly in my humble opinion and, if this was adjusted to the right speed, it would get 5 stars. One major plus is that there's NO BONUS DISC with this one so if you don't have the money upon first release, there's nothing to miss. Another major plus is that you can hear all the instruments quite well in the mix (including Brent's Keyboards)."
Good Performance but Over Priced on Amazon

"This volume of Road Trips captures a good pair of partial Grateful Dead performances from 1980. While both shows have good energy, the master recording does appear to drag ever so slightly especially on the third CD.

Unfortunately it DOES NOT come with the bonus CD that the previous Road Trips releases had.

Over priced on Amazon, interested parties should consider [...].
