Jefferson Beavers | Modesto, CA USA | 08/02/2001 (5 out of 5 stars) "This is the coveted German 5-track EP version of the "Crystal Lake" singles, released by the Modesto-based five piece. All four additional tracks are b-sides that are unavailable in the U.S. "Moe Bandy Mountaineers" is a pleasant little corncob ditty. "She-deleter" is a two-movement track that shows off the band's soft side as well as its loud side. "What Can't Be Erased" is a short, dreamy drone. And "I Don't Wanna Record Anymore" is Jason's songwriting at its best. If you're a collector, this disc is definitely worth it." The first U.K. single off The Sophtware Slump.
