"Grand Illusion is the Swedish band made up of seasoned veteran rockers previously worked as PROMOTION founded in 1986. The band music reminds me of dynamic rock such as STYX and JOURNEY. Their previous work THE VIEW FROM THE TOP was such a masterpiece with a number of great sing-along songs.

After establishing their style in last album they proceed on a bit of challenge to make it a bit mightier and heavier. DEVIL'S ADVOCATE the opener shows they can rock hard to the edge but retaining their excellent chorus. LOVE LIES BEHIND is also a heavyset addition and it is excelletly made. Most of the songs included are the extention of last album and the production and mixing made huge progress comparing to the last one. THE BEST IS YET TO COME the first single from the album is culmination of what they have achieved through their long career. 1982 shows the pop and catchy side of the band and BACK TO YESTERDAY will encapture you by its well-hooked melodies.

Highly recommended for STYX, SURVIVOR, PRIDE OF LIONS, JOURNEY and DAMN YANKEES fans."
