"I bought this particularly for the Tchaikovsky Piano Trio (the only one he wrote) and was rewarded with both a phenomenal Tchaikovsky as well as the generous pairing of the superb Smetana Trio! These performances are astounding; well balanced without allowing the piano to overwhelm the intricacies of the other parts. If you are unfamiliar with these compositions be prepared to save a place on your desert island list. Don't take my word, both are given high praise by The Penguin Guide."
