OK solo Debut -- nothing Special
G$ | B-More, MD | 04/01/2005
(3 out of 5 stars)

"Goldie Loc comes out with his solo debut and it is not nearly as good as his work with the Eastsidaz. There is no book on the inside so you don't know who produced the songs (most are average production jobs at best anyway) and some of the guests labeled on the back are incorrect. It has 15 songs, 4 I skip, 4 are ok, and 7 are good and 1 is almost a clssic. Only 3 songs don't have guests. A good album to have for his fans but it could have been much better.

#1 - 7 (f/ lebo (who isn't a very good rapper) & kokane)

#2 - 5.5 (f/ lebo -- he does 2 bad verses)

#3 - 5.5 (f/ lebo)

#4 - 8 (deeper song -- f/ kokane)

#5 - 9.5 (great beat, about being in jail)

#6 - 8 (f/ tray deee

#7 - 7.5 (f/ tray deee e-white & delano)

#8 - 7 (f/ boki & j girl)

#9 - 8 (deeper song -- f/ boki)

#10 - 8.5 (f/ lebo)

#11 - 6.5

#12 - 8 (f/ boo-ru & seven)

#13 - 7

#14 - 8.5 (f/ young sagg, t-sagg & young duz)

#15 - 9.5 (has "Doggy Dogg World" beat from Snoop's "Doggystyle" --- f/ 5 Block)

Goldie loc almost gold

(4 out of 5 stars)

"Being a fan of Goldie Loc its hard to say too much bad bout the man, the thing i like about goldie loc is he keeps it real on his joints, real west coast fans or hip hop fans in general don`t need 10 pages of credits & thanx in the damn album cover, we wanna hear some good music and this is what Goldie Loc does, unlike a previous reviewer by the name of G.ZAWADZKI that obviously don`t know too much about this eastsida this is not his debut solo album he has 2 independ albums out there(tha after party & biznezz never personal) this album shows his continuous growth in an otherwise underrated west coast, buy this album and help bring back the west coast 2 where it belongs!"
Good Album

"This is a pretty damn good album from Goldie Loc who is in the group The Eastsidaz. Most of the songs are good but i do not like a few because the beats did not flow with his voice but that my opinion and a few people will probably disagree with me but other then that this is a strong release from him. This has not gotten that much marketing but he is still selling which is a good thing and i hope he comes out with another one. I recommend that you buy this and The West Coast is slowly coming back."
