Dewhirst | Yorkshire, England | 10/02/2005 (5 out of 5 stars) "I bought this CD in early 2004 after stumbling upon their website and listening to a sample of the first track on this album "I will light you on fire", I thought it was an amazing track and after listening to the same sample over and over decided i'd try to buy it. Unfortunately as i'm from England no-one had it or had even heard of Golden Shoulders (unfortunately for them!) so i had to get it shipped from America by Amazon. It was worth the extra money beleive me, since i got it it hasn't been out of my CD player for more than five minutes. Fortunatley i got to see them on a recent trip to California and i bought their other album "Let my Burden Be" (off of Adam Kline himself!!!) and i really like that one too, however my all time favourite album has to be Friendship is Deep. Buy it, you'll LOVE it! My favourite songs are "I will light you on fire" - the layering of the singing is really effective and original and "Golden Soldiers" - an anti-war song, relevant in this day and age and fantastic thought-provoking lyrics."
