Warning

"If you liked the performance of this song on the television show, you should know that the 10 finalists singing it were backed on that performance by a full choir -- which was offstage and therefore unseen. The choir added tremendous depth and truly magnificent harmony parts that enhanced the song beautifully. That choir is absent on this studio version, and you only have the 10 finalists singing. While more authentic, it's also less magnificent and stirring. So, my point is if you've only heard the TV show version and you're basing your decision to buy it on that, you might be disappointed. That said, this version's not bad."
Very Good

Finally, a Top 10 that sounds GOOD toghether

"I suppose that as a whole, last season's American Idol Top 10, notwithstanding two or three stellar singers, were a pretty paltry sample of talent. Whenever they sang together, it was very difficult to listen to. This year, however, I find the Top 10 sound great together, notwithstanding two or three WEAK voices this time around. This single is proof of that (even if they did adjust some voices in the mix), the altogether mix is great. While there are still a couple singers in the Top 10 I don't care much for, they manage to blend. Also, I'm not usually overly patriotic just because it's trendy to be right now, but I found this rendition of a patriotic classic moving.I gave this one four stars, because I agree with what was posted earlier that I would like to have seen at least one or two more tracks on here. Maybe, as was suggested, contestants singing solos or ensembles of other patriotic songs (or otherwise, for that matter) would have been good."
