"This import CD from Japan has superior sound quality to any other version of this soundtrack I have encountered. Taken from Dario Argento's wonderful giallo film DEEP RED, the music from GOBLIN really sets the tone for this classic horror movie. The tracks are limited on this import (there is no "music box" music from the "house of the screaming child," but the few tracks that are included demonstrate superior recording and remixing. (School at Night is truly haunting) So, order the Japanese import, turn the lights down low, and you will harken back to a time when the atmosphere of horror movies was really scary. Dario Argento is the true king of modern horror, and the music of Goblin propelled his spooky images effectively!"
