CD ReviewsThe Glorious Go-Betweens. WOW!!! S.K. | Sydney, Australia | 07/13/2005 (5 out of 5 stars) "What can I say? This band is like a rare vintage wine. They just go from great to absolutely brilliant! Oceans Apart is SENSATIONAL! The melodies are dreamy,smooth and mesmerising. I loved 16 Lovers' Lane and the albums that came before, and Oceans Apart is breathtaking and can stand alongside the other albums proudly. The Statue, No Reason To Cry, This Night's For You, Boundary Rider, Finding You are all current Go-Betweens' classics. The live bonus CD that comes with this version further illustrates how flawless and spectacular they are live. Streets of Your Town and the guitar variations used live on this track has become my favourite version of this particular song, which I already loved very much. The Go-Betweens wear their heart on their sleeve,and what a beautiful heart it is. They are a joy, and I am so thankful in being able to see them live in my local area. It's a blessing. I am so looking forward to the concert. It's been a long wait, but waiting for the Go-Betweens is something I don't mind at all.
