Digitally remastered and expanded edition of this album from the Soul vocalist and long-time companion of Glam rocker Marc Bolan. Gloria might be most famous for recording the original version of 'Tainted Love', the Northern Soul classic popularized by Soft Cell. Having recorded for several different labels, culminating in a spell with Motown, Gloria became romantically involved with Bolan and worked with T. Rex as a backing singer. Their relationship led to the highly coveted LP Vixen, issued on T. Rex's label through EMI in 1976, which has long been out-of-print. Marc co-produced the album as well as writing or co-writing most of the songs. A highlight is her two-part rendering of the T. Rex classic 'Get It On'. This reissue also adds bonus tracks including a single b-side from the 1976 sessions plus the album Windstorm issued on EMI's Sidewalk subsidiary in 1978.
