"Every now and then, I'll take a chance on a CD in the Indian classical genre from an artist with whom I am not familiar. Girija Devi is just such an artist. I have heard artists such as Lakshmi Shankar and I would certainly put her in that class. And the accompanists on this recording are known to me, so that would lend itself to my adding it to my collection,"
