"I bought "In Loving memory of NY" recently and have been listening to it over and over again. It is superb. There is a point beyond which even talent, mastery of an instrument and virtuosity are not enough. Atzmon's interpretation of 'Everything happens to me,' 'In the small hours," 'In loving memory of America' and everything else of this CD touches that point and one may well conclude that the explanation is nothing but ... love. This artist's love of music, humanity, life becomes music. His music. Bravo, Gilad!

I recommend it to anyone who loves The Bird, or Coltrane or Miles Davis, or indeed to anyone who loves what Gilad loves."
