CD Reviews

Gigi D'Alessio Totally Rocks!

"Listen up peeps! This album totally ROCKS! My boyfriend gave it to me as a present with this translated quote by G. D'Alessio..."Without you, I'm going to feel 'like a child that didn't find anything under the Christmas tree.'" Even though I don't speak Italian, I would recommend this album to anyone that loves good Italian music sung from the heart with an occasional beat (catchy tunes too!). (There is always something lost in translation, but these lyrics are GREAT!) So what are you waiting for? BUY IT NOW! =)"

"If you are a Gigi fan you'll love this new album. He sticks to love themes and of course life in Naples. He makes you feel like you are in the heart of the city. My Neopolitan boyfriend and myself sing along to all the tracks in the car. It is very romantic."
An absolute must

"Every once in a while a singer comes along who's music ties itself around your soul. Gigi is such a singer. The melodies are fantastic, especially the refrains. I happened upon his music by chance last summer in Italy and after buying this CD I feel like buying up everything he's ever made. I hope he makes it big in Holland where he is as yet unfortunately unknown. The texts are quite complicated, especially if you're not an Italian speaker, but the music more than makes up for it. Well thought out melodies, well arranged and well recorded. Wonderful!!"
