Very fine pianist of little renown

"Sensitive, nuanced playing of the highest order by Mme. Thyssens-Valentin. Especially fine are the adagio of the Mozart concerto and the 1st & 3rd "Romances sans Paroles" by Fauré. A scrappy orchestra in the Mozart, and poor Ducretet-Thomson sound throughout are serious drawbacks.

I have not heard her all Fauré discs, but they have received very enthusiastic reviews from other Amazon reviewers.
