"Made in UK in 2005, Serial# GLASS-110-CD, Playing Time 48:01

This is a strange release indeed... For those who have been avidly putting their hands on these "official bootleg" releases, "Live In New York 1975" appears to be, as far as "credits" are concerned, something that could be skipped over.

After all, GLASS HOUSE records released a few years ago, on the 2CD set "Endless Life", this very same concert in White Plains, New York... Even though the tapes used for the release seemed to have been made from a pocket cassette recorder stuck in someone's pocket (as least that's what it sounded like to me!), the track selection was significantly longer...

BUT WAIT A MINUTE!!! Even if the artwork of the "Live in NY 1975" has been changed from "Endless Life", these are NOT the same performances: not even close?!?

Strangely enough, the VOICEPRINT website states that this concert is from Baltimore!!! Unfortunately, at no time during the recording of these performances do we hear something like "Good evening New York" (or Baltimore, or Cleveland, or whatever!)

The sound quality is much better than on the "Endless Life" release (I would even dare to say "average"!), and there is no doubt that it was recorded somewhere in the USA; there is no doubt either that it was NOT recorded during the same concert as the White Plains portion of the "Endless Life" 2CD set (even the song introductions are completely different!!!)

So I'm not sure where this was recorded, but it sure sounds A LOT BETTER than what we were treated to on "Endless Life"; so for the completists of GG out there, this one is worth grabbing."
