"Genuiser is much more dark and moody than any of the last couple of TWP albums. Picture the electronic music of DEREK THE CONFESSOR, NEW GLASS, or CHRISTIANITY with the moodiness of Standing Up Straight... and you will only have scraped the surface. The song UNTIE MY HANDS is a brilliant opening crescendo for the album. YOU CAN LOSE IT has a hypnotic and addictive bouncing bass line with sinister vocals from MICHAEL ALLEN. Basically, Michael Allen handled the vocals and some of the music. Guisseppe (who worked on some Orb remixes) created most of the electronic soundscapes. The soul music feel of TWP is absent but the intelligence and darkness remains. GENUISER is a wonderful album, a rare treasure if you can find it."
