CD ReviewsA very good collection 03/30/2006 (5 out of 5 stars) "This collection features the original first two albums by Gazebo, "Gazebo" and "Telephone Mama" which are hard to find in cd! It miss only one song "Strategy" which has been replaced by the original radio version of "I Like Chopin". The best tracks in my opinion are: "I Like Chopin", "Telephone Mama", "Masterpiece" and "First". People who'll buy this compilation will understand what a great and original lyricist Gazebo is! Ok the music is italo-disco but that's what italian producers wanted in Italy for artists who sung in english at that time. Gazebo speak good english as he grew up all around europe and went in english school! He also released other 4 studio albums, then became producer for east-european artists.
By the way there are voices he'll be back! If only singer-songwriter like Gazebo had the freedom to express themselves we could hear good music! " |
