"The Mood of Midnight" by singer/songwriter Gary Taylor is championed by smooth jazz and R&B fans alike. Opening with "In Search Of...," an anthem for all looking for love; continuing with tips to keep love in "Don't Go There," "Who We Are" and "One Day At A Time;" and topping it off with the sexy sax solo by Keith Fiddmont on "Time's Run Out Of Time." "The Mood of Midnight" is definitely an album that will be played over and over again.

"But....I am listening to this CD right now while surfing Amazon and I just had to post a review of the project. I haven't listened to it for a while (misplaced it), but I found it today and boy did I forget how peaceful, soothing and rhymthic it is for the soul, heart and mind. Mr. Taylor put together yet another masterful and soulful CD; the tune, "Time Has Run Out of Time," is one of the most beautiful and honest songs, I've ever listened to..and it hits home for me. Hmmm..and "Rest My Lips" is just liquid fire...
The entire CD will have you sinking into soft pillows and reveling in his talent. I own all of his musical forays, but this is one of my favorites.
I urge anyone that doesn't own any Gary Taylor to start here and I guarantee, you will hunger to get your hands on any and everything he's every made. He's that soothing and compelling."

"UNDERRATED!!! That's what Gary Taylor is and has been for almost 20 years. He's one of the, if not the, best balladere's in the music industry. His smooth jazzy tunes coupled with a smooth demeanor and "in your face" lyrics compliment each other on all of his albums/CDs. Listening to his lyrics, we find out that we all can relate to what he is saying. I feel that this CD, "The Mood of Midnight" is probably pound for pound his best work. Hopefully, one of these days radio stations across the country will give "The Great Gary Taylor" the respect he rightfully deserves."
