"After Hours" is not strictly a blues cd.

There is a mixture of styles on this album including the blues with B.B.King contributing on(Guitar and vocals) "Since I Met You Baby" and Albert Collins playing on "The Blues Is Alright."

Gary Moore displays his versatility on guitar with some slow songs like "Jumping At Shadows" and an almost jazzy song "Once In A Blue Moon."
His vocals stand out on "Separate Ways" which isn't a personal favorite of mine.
"Cold Day In Hell" could almost be a signature song of Moore's.
"Only Fool In Town" is another notable song with scorching blues riffs.
The extended version of "All Time Low" is a real blues gem! It's one of those long tunes that ends too soon.

I really appreciate the versatility and range that Gary Moore had with a Les Paul.
The use of a horn section and piano blend in seamlessly and make this an excellent addition to anyone that collects Gary Moore's blues albums!
"Still Got The Blues" is known as one of his best, and this cd is not far below that!
