The much underrated Gary Miller

"Anyone who has seen the puppet show Stingray, will probably know the song Marina, which was played at the end of each episode. Gary Miller sang that song beautifully, he also had a number of hits in the U.K His biggest Robin Hood which reached the top 10 in 1956. All these tracks are included on this album, and although many are covers of American originals, his renditions of all the songs are warm and inspiring. My personal favourites are Robin Hood, and Marina, He derserved much higher acclaim than he recieved. If you like such artists as Perry Como, or Andy williams then you will no doubt like this British equivilant."
