"Gary Clark has got to be one of the best kept secrets around and he shouldn't be. His music is light, stylish, almost ethereal at times and highly romantic. I play his CDs at almost all of my dinner parties and when I'm having a special dinner with my sweetheart, I always put Gary on as background. Not surprisingly, when I do play Gary's music at parties, inevitably someone asks who is playing. It's beautiful and fun music. Thanks Gary. When's your next release?!"

"I was somewhat blown away when I first heard this ensemble of great piano pieces. I simply wasn't expecting it to be so good. I was new to Mr. Gary Clark's music but the songs listed on the back of the CD case made me curious enough to listen to it. There were pieces that I recognized from the titles to other sweet and endearing pieces on this CD. From the theme songs from Les Miserables to Ice Castles, I couldn't get the CD wrapper off fast enough. When I actually, heard the music... I was mesmerized. Not only were the pieces irresistible, Gary Clark's style was enchanting. Some of the words I would use to describe his style would be "smooth" and "charming". Certain pieces were romantic and emotional such as "I Will Wait For You" and "Tenderly". Some were sweet and playful like "Speak Softly" and "I Got A Crush On You". This collection is a wonderful ensemble of classical, pop and jazz is great to listen just about anytime. I found it to be relaxing and soothing to listen to.Over all, Simply Grand 2 is simply... GRAND."
"I was browsing for my first time on Amazon.com and I was extremely happy to see that Gary Clark CD is now available through this great medium. Some time ago, I bought several copies of "Simply Grand" after a Gary Clark live performance in Boca Raton Florida. I have taken some to my hometown, Florence Italy. My family and friends here and in Florence, love artistic musical expressions of high level. Gary Clark does just that. "Speak Softly Love" is powerful, moving and original. It sets the tempo for superb and exquisitely arranged performance."

"Of the many gifted and talented pianists one can hear on CD's, TV and radio, Gary Clarks' style and finesse on the keyboard stands out as unique. As in most art it is the feelings the playing evokes that sets it apart. The technique and skill in his playing are evident but it is the arrangement, style and creative embellishment that makes this CD "Simply Elegant"."

"I had to find the most appropriate music for the High Tea's held in my home. I was told of this CD by a friend and was astonished how much I liked it, I received compliments through out the party regarding the lovely music and the party attendees were very diverse people and everyone loved the music. I am so glad to find out there is a Simply Grand and a new CD on the way. I look forward to purchasing all his CD's it is the next best thing to hiring him to come and play!"
