"Land Of The Free was the first Gamma Ray Album I bought off this new Amazon web site back in the day. I, to this day, love it. All songs (save Farewell) are fantastic and I have listened to it over and over again. I have all the Gamma Ray albums. I have not liked much of their stuff save some here and there songs since Powerplant, but being such a Kai fan I keep albums. This one didn't work out for me.



I'm always leery of part IIs released years (decade) later. Unforgiven2. Back to Hanger18. Operation Mindcrime II. My gut was correct. I like the first part of From The Ashes. To me that was all this offered. Reading through the reviews, reviewers who liked the newer stuff seemed to like this one. Admittedly I'm old school on Gamma Ray and still say they are here and there since '99.
