"Just bought this one. Absolutely beautiful. My favorites on it are Nossos Momentos (the title cut) and Chora Tua Tristeza, followed closely by Pra Machucar Meu Coração, Alguém Como Tu, and Folhas Secas. I'll stop now, before I list the entire songlist. I like them all.
If you're not familiar with Gal, you should check out the sample audio links above. Besides just absolutely nailing the notes on whatever interval she attempts, I also like the way she contrasts ending some with vibrato, and others without, including the short little "breathy" exhale sometimes when ending notes on the "ah" syllable. She really knows how to bend those unique Portuguese vowels. Jobim was right: her voice really is "one hell of an instrument.""
