CD Reviews

The best of deep house!
vilim | Josipovac Croatia | 05/29/2002
(5 out of 5 stars)

"George Pallikaris froom Greece) aka G-Pal is one of the greatest house DJ producer and composer. This album is his most ambitious project, dedicated to his family at Greece. I strongly recommend it, because you'll enjoy in crystal clear new age sounds mixed with progressive deep house beats. Incredible atmosphere and beautiful instrumental melodies will transport you away from ordinary world. Song "Life" has probably the most beautiful melody I've ever heard. You must listen it, you'll be hypnotized."
Chill/ambient house techno

"This is a great cd to chillout to, drive with, work to, and various other legal or not so legal things. G-Pal is definitely going places and his music allows you to go places if you're in the mood. Best ambient I've ever heard."
Sublime atmospheric tech-house
Michael Ryan | Boise, ID United States | 03/26/2002
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I love this CD! Warm, dubby tech-house which never strays far from the 4/4 bass drum kick--a similar feel to labelmate Terry Lee Brown, Jr., with lush, atmospheric washes of sound over rolling, funky basslines which evoke the ache of deep emotion. Definitely at the house-ier end of the spectrum from minimalists like the Force-Inc. and raum...musik crowds. I'm not sure why, but the title of this CD describes perfectly how it makes me feel--the beauty, heartache and very preciousness of life are all evoked by George Pallikaris' richly textured music. Imagine LTJ Bukem's stable of Good Looking artists making music to house beats instead of drum'n'bass rhythms. Can we call it "atmospheric house?" Oh, yeah!"
