(5 out of 5 stars)

"this one has a nice dark vibe. some jazz elements and some trip hop kinda beats almost like isdn. but not quite as soft and quiet. the jazz drumming in "night lapsed" just sounds great. the beat in "wanting" almost sounds like a heavy rap beat or a slower hip hoppy crystal method beat. and the song "mumble" is something i can't even describe. i laugh to myself while hearing this song because it's like being warped into a different dimension. i will say that the best songs on the 5 archive releases are pretty much spread across all 5 cds. you could make 1 really really good full cd out of all 5 archive releases. anyway this one is pretty good. but there are good songs (and some filler) across all 5 of these releases... thats exactly why they're called "from the archives" and yes you should already be a future sound fan to get into them. or maybe not. i would not start here. but hey.. from what i've seen people either like fsol or they dont. also archive #5 is good"
