Signed to Parrot in 1969, Frijid Pink (despite its name) produced some of the most scorching blues-rock of its day, led by the exceptional song writing talents of guitarist Gary Thompson and bassist Tom Beaudry. This triple CD box contains the band's first three albums (Frijid Pink, Defrosted and Earth Omen) along with 8 bonus tracks compiled from the band's singles. Original cover art also included.

"If you want an excellent testimony to a great band....buy the first 2 remastered cd's .....they have the same bonus tracks and you'd be happier....the 3rd cd "Earth Omen"....is a total waste.....the drummer reforms the band....more accurately....he continues to use the name with an entirely new lineup.....this is NOT the Fridgid Pink you will remember....the effort is totally lame and has no business being compared to the original band in any way, shape or form.

Do yourself a BIG favor.....DONT BUY THIS BOX SET....you'll be disappointed......and I doubt this box set was remastered.....another reason to avoid it"
